Cookie Policy

Essential temporary-inbox cookies and optional analytics or advertising storage used by Temp Mail 24.

Last updated: July 27, 2026.

This policy explains cookies and similar browser storage used on temp-mail24.com. A cookie is a small value stored by a browser; similar technologies include local storage, tags, pixels, and consent identifiers.

Storage used by the site

Technology Purpose Typical duration Category
tmtoken Contains an encrypted representation of the temporary address so the current browser can reopen its inbox. HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, site-wide path, and Secure on HTTPS. Up to 30 days from issue unless replaced, reset, cleared, or configuration changes. Strictly necessary
Google Privacy & Messaging consent storage Records and communicates privacy choices, vendor permissions, regional opt-outs, and consent signals. Exact names depend on region and Google’s current CMP implementation. Set by Google according to the consent choice and its current retention settings. Necessary to remember requested privacy choices
Microsoft Clarity session replay Records masked page structure and interaction, navigation, device/browser, performance, and JavaScript-error signals for site diagnostics. The project is currently configured with Cookies Off and strict text masking; private inbox roots also carry data-clarity-mask . No Clarity cookie storage is expected while Cookies Off remains enabled. Cookieless diagnostic records follow the provider and project retention settings. Analytics
_ga , _ga_* Google Analytics distinguishes browsers and sessions and reports site-usage statistics when analytics storage is permitted. Google’s default is up to 2 years, subject to browser limits, property settings, and consent. Analytics
Google advertising cookies and identifiers Ad delivery, frequency limits, fraud prevention, measurement, and, where permitted, personalization. Names may include IDE , id , _gads , _gac_* , or _gcl_* and may be set from Google or DoubleClick domains. Varies by cookie, region, browser, and choice; Google currently describes periods from a session or 90 days to 13 months in the EEA/UK/Switzerland and up to 24 months for some advertising identifiers elsewhere. Advertising
tm_mail_jump_score_v1 , tm_mail_jump_best_v1 , tm_mail_jump_player_v1 Stores the optional Mail Jump score, best score, and random pseudonymous player ID used for the leaderboard. Until site storage is cleared. Functional
tm_inbox_rush_counts_v1 Stores optional Inbox Rush delivery, destruction, and loss counters. Until site storage is cleared. Functional

Session replay and masking

Microsoft Clarity is the site’s only session replay and heatmap service. It is configured for strict text masking and Cookies Off. The temporary address, inbox list, and message view are additionally marked for masking in the page DOM. Clarity may still receive cookieless, masked interaction and performance diagnostics according to consent and project settings; refusing optional purposes does not disable the essential inbox.

Ahrefs Web Analytics is loaded on the site but states that its standard product does not set cookies or persistent identifiers. It processes page URL, referrer, user agent, language, approximate location derived from IP, and interaction events. Ahrefs states that raw IP addresses are discarded and the daily visitor hash cannot track a person across days. Because the script sends a network request to Ahrefs, it is described in the Privacy Policy even though it is not a cookie.

Google Privacy & Messaging is the site’s consent-management platform. In the EEA, United Kingdom, Switzerland, and other regions where consent is required, analytics and advertising storage default to denied until a valid choice is recorded. Advertising storage remains conservative elsewhere until the applicable Google flow provides an update. Refusing optional purposes does not disable the essential inbox cookie.

Cookie names and lifetimes can change when Google, browsers, regulations, or site configuration change. Browser developer tools show the storage actually present on your device. Third-party cookies are also governed by the relevant provider’s policy.

Manage or withdraw choices

Use where displayed to reopen European consent controls. Residents of supported US states can use . You can also delete cookies/local storage or block categories in browser settings. Global Privacy Control is respected where applicable.

Deleting tmtoken can permanently end practical access to the assigned inbox. Clearing game storage resets local scores, counters, and the pseudonymous player ID. Browser blocking cannot erase information already sent to a provider; use provider controls where relevant, including Google Ads Settings.

Questions about storage or privacy choices can be submitted through the contact page. Read the Privacy Policy for data categories, legal bases, recipients, retention criteria, transfers, and rights.
